This model is a production folding machine with additional print production features:
TOUCH SCREEN: The LED touch screen sets up 36 standard folds automatically at the touch of a button. Up to 24 custom folds can be stored in memory.
PAPER FEED / SEPARATOR PRESSURE ADJUSTMENT DOUBLE FEED DETECTION: Paper feed pressure adjustment helps the machine to feed wider range of stocks, and the separator pressure adjustment prevents double feeds.
DOUBLE FEED DETECTION: The double feed detection sensor prevents mis-folded papers being contaminated to outputs.
PERF / SCORING UNITs: The 508A can be used as a perforator by replacing a perf unit to the folding table. It is also possible to add or replace perf / score / kiss cut heads on a unit to give multiple finishing styles in one pass.
