Destroyit Centralized Paper Shredders are heavy-duty, high-volume machines specifically designed to shred large amounts of material daily. Group central "at the source" shredding is a more secure and cost-effective than using an outside shredding service - which can lead to security risks and leaks of sensitive information.

Ideally, they are positioned in a common area, such as next to a copier or fax, and shared by a number of employees. Feed openings from 10 1/4 to 16 inches handle a wide range of document sizes and a variety of cutting heads are available in multiple security levels. All these strip and cross-cut models will accept staples and paper clips and many will shred CD's (except high security or SMC - Super Micro Cut).

The Destroyit 2503 / cc shredders are centralized office paper shredders and are heavy-duty, mid-volume machines specifically designed to shred large amounts of material daily. These particular models are also multimedia capable for destroying disks (CD's / DVD's).

Intended to be used in a common area like a copier or mail-room, open office area or hallway, they are still small enough that they can be placed near the desk for easy access for group shredding. The stylized design and durable construction fits nicely into any work environment decor.

Built using a solid laminated wood for the cabinet for durability, precision engineered cutting shafts manufactured from high grade hardened steel, low voltage energy saving electronics, and mounted on swivel castors for easy moving between offices.

The cabinet door includes a sensor to detect and shut off when the door is opened and the easy access bin allows quick emptying of the waste when full.

Several options are available in strip cut, cross cut with two optional high security destruction formats. These units also boast the largest sheet capacity and speed in this line of equipment. Everything about this model is suited towards central office needs, including its durability and performance.

The sturdy chain driven motor is housed in a dust free gear box and large sized waste cabinet is mounted on castors for easy moving. The ECC (Electronic Capacity Control) panels monitors and shows capacity levels and operation details at a quick glance.
